The second International Conference of TV-WEB will focus on eInclusion/eSkills with special focus on the target group of TV-WEB/digital divide as well as on the TV-WEB value chain. Prior to the conference on 12 November 2014 we are organising a company visit to Antenna Hungária, the HUngarian DTT provider. On the conference day on 13 November, we are organising 2 plenary sessions in the morning and 2 parallel session in the afternoon where participants will be able to choose between a very technical meeting (where the challenges of the TV-WEB technical solution will be discussed) as well as a future cooperation oriented networking session where future proposals can be discussed among the participants. The objective of the conference is to launch a discussion around the digital divide and potential ways of minimising it (with special focus on the TV-WEB solution).

During the coffee and lunch breaks participants will have the chance to test the TV-WEB service which has been developed and tested during the project implementation by the potential end-users.

Within TV-WEB different aspects of the potential service have been investigated starting from the technical feasibility through content related issues like the type of content to be offered or the editorial responsibility to business case development.

Who should attend?

Whether you are interested in innovations related to the delivery of Internet services or in increasing availability of Internet services for marginal groups – you will find the conference useful. We invite, in particular, representatives of network operators, service providers, media or content providers, policy makers and governmental institutions. We put emphasis on the involvement of the ICT sector, especially of equipment manufacturers (set-top-box or smart TV), research and educational organisations, ICT associations and national regulatory agencies, as well as organisations representing older people.
